Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By accessing or using the Book Flow House platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately discontinue use of our services.
Definitions and Interpretations
"Platform" refers to the Book Flow House website and mobile applications; "User" denotes any individual accessing our services; "Content" encompasses all literary materials, images, and descriptions; "Products" means physical books and merchandise available for purchase; and "We/Us" refers to Book Flow House Kft., registered in Hungary.
User Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
Users must be at least 18 years of age or possess parental consent to create accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts showing suspicious activity or violations of these terms.
Product Information and Pricing Accuracy
We strive to display accurate descriptions, high-resolution imagery, and availability status for all literary works. Prices are listed in Hungarian Forint (HUF) inclusive of applicable VAT, with multi-currency conversion available for international customers. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors prior to order confirmation.
Order Formation and Payment Terms
Placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase, subject to our acceptance. Payment is processed securely through encrypted channels upon order confirmation. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and digital wallets. Ownership of Products transfers upon full payment and delivery completion.
Shipping, Delivery, and Risk Transfer
We deliver to addresses within the European Economic Area and selected global destinations. Delivery timeframes are estimates based on carrier schedules. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer upon delivery confirmation. Shipping costs are calculated dynamically based on weight, destination, and selected service level.
Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
In accordance with Hungarian consumer protection laws and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, customers residing in the European Union possess a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of product receipt, allowing return of undamaged books in original packaging for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.
Returns, Refunds, and Defective Goods
Defective or incorrectly shipped items may be returned within 30 days for replacement or refund at our expense. For withdrawal-based returns, customers bear return shipping costs unless the item is faulty. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods via the original payment method.
Intellectual Property and Content Usage
All website content, including book cover photography, descriptive text, logos, and interface design elements, constitutes the intellectual property of Book Flow House or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use of purchased products.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
Book Flow House shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use or website accessibility issues. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the specific product in question. Nothing herein excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud under mandatory Hungarian law.
Data Protection and Privacy Compliance
Personal data processing adheres to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination. By using our platform, you consent to data collection as detailed in our Privacy Policy. We implement advanced encryption and security protocols to protect user information.
Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Amendments
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hungarian courts, particularly the competent court of Budapest. We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days' notice posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
